Currently manage all aspects of a thriving technology center serving low-income housing residents and surrounding community. Installed and maintain Windows Small Business Server 2003, Active Directory, security and Group Policy Objects. Maintain all hardware and software and troubleshoot and resolve server and network problems. Developed new name, website (Google Applications) and marketing materials for community outreach and collaboration. Following initial needs analysis and strategic planning, I reinstalled the entire lab: Specified, ordered and installed new workstations, network hub, cable, firewall and server.

Managed information resources for the University of Washington's Northwest Center for Public Health Practice. Strategically and cost-effectively implemented and maintained sustainable information technology systems to help the Center achieve its mission to deliver continuing education to public health professionals. Ensured the availability and delivery of mission-critical resources including multiple websites, online courses, iLink web conferencing and multimedia archives. Implemented Plone-based content management system and processes. Supervised Web developer.

Committee for Children, Seattle, WA 2003 - 2004

Managed and developed US and localized UK sites to align with organization mission and goals; upgraded from individually hand-coded pages to a content management system. Managed PHP and Python programmers and implemented content management workflows. Completed development of store with credit card authorization functionality. Designed Flash presentations and demos to deliver complex research-based information to educators.

Justice Programs Technology Specialist

Washington State Bar Association, Seattle, WA 2001 - 2003

Under the auspices of Washington State’s Supreme Court-appointed Access to Justice Board and the WSBA, coordinated collaborative implementation of new technology initiatives within the state's civil legal services network.

Developed the concept and Flash prototype of a "platform brand" concept for statewide civil legal justice agencies which was implemented as The Equal Justice Alliance. Collaborated in the Web development, design and delivery of Washington State's LawForWA and Technology Bill of Rights websites.

Facilitated development of the ATJ Board’s strategic statewide technology and communications plans. Implemented a statewide program to help legal assistance offices back up and protect client data. Ad hoc projects included digital video production of software training distributed on CD for statewide programs, Flash demos to present planning and branding concepts and a variety of data collection and analysis tools.

Developed grant proposal and received funding to coordinate an innovative collaborative project between Seattle Central Community College, King County Jail, and three community agencies. Managed budget, contracts and invoices; hired staff; prepared reports; created tracking system, assessment tools and promotional materials. Synthesized project outcomes to create conflict resolution curriculum disseminated for use in correctional facilities statewide.

English as a Second Language and Adult Basic Skills Educator

Independent Contractor - Seattle area non-profit community agencies, 1988 - 1998

Developed and taught workplace English courses for English language learning employees of local companies. Worked with corporations and non-profits to remove communication barriers between native and non-native English speaking employees. Employed interviews, task analysis, shadowing, and surveys to develop and deliver curricula customized to client needs.
